Continuing Transaction Status Fail Free events are all successful My Testing and debugging has led me to look more closely at a possible timing issue. It appears that the transactions showing status fail all have a long processing time some ie Some are even longer up to 6 minutes. Have you run across this issue before? Is their a limit that EE puts on the wait time for approval from the gateway??? Any suggestions. Still trying to figure this out. The few registrations that went ok were under 2 minutes. thank you Lori |

The next thing to check would be whether Mijireh is sending a message to your EE install when those approvals from Braintree take more than 2 minutes. Do you have apache level logging, so you can see the incoming requests? That would tell us whether EE is getting a message from Mijireh. |

Sidney thanks for helping!! I ran the script it is incrementing. Not sure what Godaddy is talking about caching the whole site with no exceptions.?? I don’t have apache level logging… I do have a transaction that failed last night. Any other ideas… I am happy to have you login and see the latest fail. lori |

sydney, I have sent information to both mijireh and braintree. I have a transaction that worked and one that failed. How can I send you the information also. It looks to me like all the authorization gateways are working correctly. Is EE4 looking for a timestamp time from mijireh or is it just an amount of time ( timing thing) my braintree is set to cst. but I don’t think that plays apart of this issue.. lori |
Hi Lori, please share that information via this email address: support [at] eventespresso.com Also, please do include any notes about caching from GoDaddy. We’ll need the Event Espresso pages to be excluded from caching for it to work correctly. A blog post can be cached as its fairly static content and just not change. However, registering for an event is similar to purchasing an item from an online store so it needs to be excluded. — |

Hi, do you know if Godaddy has setup no-cache / cache exclusion rules for your site? — |

Hi Lorenzo! Talked to Godaddy. Decided to try Authorize.net gateway and merchant since they are the standard in the industry. I had one registration go through with success! Second registration had a decline. (not a fail like my others) The decline said “The merchant does not accept this type of credit card” The transaction never made it to authorize.net. I would like to trouble shoot on the EE side. I am hoping that Authorize.net proves to be successful. Lori |
Hi Lori, I replied to your other support post with information on that error message: https://eventespresso.com/topic/authorize-net-decline-on-ee-never-going-to-authorize-net/ Since this is a new account, I believe it may be related to a setting within the account. — |
