Transaction shows as incomplete despite a cancelled registration

Hi,

I have a few registrations where a transaction inclues e.g. 3 tickets for an event. Now it transpires that 1 of the 3 was made in error and I wish to cancel the 1 registration. For argument’s sake, let’s say each ticket costs $10. That means the original transaction would have cost $30. Now howver the balance left to pay is $20 as one of the registrations was cancelled. EE4 doesn’t seem to take into account that a registration that is part of a transaction has been cancelled and keeps the transactions as incomplete even though I have updated the transaction with $20 received as a manual payment (from an apply payment under the transaction screen…).

Any idea on what I might be doing wrong here?

Hi Kenneth,

This isn’t something you are doing wrong, Event Espresso currently does not re-calculate the transaction based on the registration status of the attendees.

We have an open ticket for this feature and I have added this thread to that ticket.

Currently to setup the correct transaction you would need to manually add the registrations with the correct tickets selected and cancel the original registrations.
