Hi There,
I recently updated to EE4. Loving the new layout and the back end really does work great for use.
I have a light problem in terms of showing potential customers how many tickets/places are remaining on our courses on our upcoming events page, see link below:

On EE3 we use to be able to show this with ease, but now for some reason i can not locate how to do this on EE4.
Can you please advise how i can correct this.

Hi Rob,
One way to do this is add the ticket selector shortcode to that page for each of those events. You’ll note that on the single event view, like this one, when you click show details it expands and displays how many tickets/places are remaining on your courses.

Hi Josh, Thank you for the quick reply, i am afraid this will not work for me, we need our customers to be able to see how many tickets are remaining at a quick glance.
Like on EE3 is there a way to show what i can just show how many tickets are remaining for one of our courses with out having to click link and open a show more box.

Hi Rob,
It’s possible to add this, but there will be some custom coding involved. One thing to keep in mind is you might have more than one datetime per event, and there might be more than one ticket that can give access to a datetime. The code in the example linked below makes an effort to take those situations into account:

You can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file. Once it’s added, it will display the number of tickets/places remaining just below the ticket selector.
