Hi, when i check the available tickets in an event, i can see the number of sold tickets and the number of registrations. What’s the difference between thes numbers? For instance: there’s an event on april 1st. It says tickets sold 93, registrations 67. The number of attendees is 67. Another event, march 11th says 70 sold and 73 registrations. Attendees are 73. Website http://www.lasalleevents.nl. Thanks in advance.
The ‘sold’ count is the number of Approved registrations.
The Regs count is the number of registrations created on the ticket, not all registrations will complete payment so they don’t switch to Approved and become part of the sold count.
You should never have a higher sold count than your have registrations, you can’t sell more tickets then you have registrations for. We see issues like that when using some offsite payment methods which use IPNs.
Ok, so we didn’t code the Pronamic Plugin so I have no idea how it works.
Is this the only event this is happening on or do multiple events have a sold value higher than the regs?
Can you take a screenshot of the ticket section and post it here?
I can’t say if it is or is not an issue with their code currently just that we see Sold values incremented multiple times with offsite plugins which rely on ‘IPN’ notifications (a request sent FROM the merchant to the site) to confirm the payment.
