We opened an event at 12:30 today and only had 300 tickets available. The ticket selector correctly showed 292 tickets sold and the ticket was still available. However, I now have 349 approved approved registrations and a huge problem on my hands. Can you advise on what went wrong so we can correct future events?
I switched it to private since I could not handle more than 300 and I was already oversold. I would be happy to provide admin credentials for you to hop in the system.
Thank you, Tony! Your explanation made absolute sense and we will certainly change the number of tickets that can be sold per transaction in the future. It was the first “fire sale” that we have ever run and did not expect everything to go that quickly. Nor did we foresee someone sitting on a transaction for 30+ minutes.
