Hey Guys! I thought a ticket was emailed to the ticket holder in EE4 or is that in EE3?

By default neither versions will email a ticket, though they will email confirmation.

EE3 has the Ticketing addon, where a link will be sent to the user which they can click to access an online ticket.

EE4 now also has a ticketing addon, though it is still in Beta (Pre Release channel)

You can opt into the pre-release channel from your account. Scroll down and look on the right-hand side.
