Hello everyone,

so I am using the latest version of EE4 as well as WP. While troubleshooting, I disabled all of the plugins except for EE4 and it made no difference.

So, I created an event, added a ticket and a dollar surcharge. When I checked the page, it was adding an extra 15% to the amount. So the ticket was 30, the surcharge was 1.20 and it was then added 15% to the total of 31.20.

I tried deleting the surcharge but when I click update, it remains there. I changed the ticket price to $0.00 and the quantity as well but I still get the issue of this dollar surcharge.

Would you help please? Thank you

Hi there,

I’m not sure I follow, so even after deleting the surcharge amount that amount is added to the ticket?

Does the ticket have any registrations attached to it currently?

Hello Tony,

sorry I had not seen your reply.

Yes, that is correct. From the control panel, there is a General Admission ticket with 0 registered attendees, with 0 dollar value, with 0 tickets and a surcharge. I click the trash can icon to delete it, I click update and it’s still there.

No problem 🙂

Since your first post we have identified this issue and have a opened a ticket to have this addressed within a future version. Currently you would need to expire that ticket and create a new one without a Price modifier attached to it.

hmmmm Isn’t there a way to go in the database and delete it or something?

Also, if I expire it (How do I do that?), will it appear on the front side? I don’t want people buying tickets to see that.

Hello, you could remove it through the database through the dbprefix_esp_tickets table but if you aren’t careful, you could damage the information for your events.

A ticket can be expired by adjusting the end date to prior to today. Also, you can hide those expired tickets.

Try this CSS in a plugin like My Custom CSS:

.tckt-slctr-tbl-tr.ticket-sales-expired.lt-grey-text{display:none}

Thanks Lorenzo,

I’ll give it a shot and will see what happens.
