Hi There,
I have a couple of questions about tickets and registration.

  1. I have 4 tickets for my event. Early Bird Child, Early Bird Adul, standard Child, Standard Adult. I want to limit the total early bird tickets to 100 irrespective of whether tickets purchased are adult or child tickets. I understand that i can create a second event time with 100 places and link the tickets to that, with unlimited ticket numbers, but i don’t want to show two separate (matching) event times when people view my event. Is there anyway to achieve this so the total early bird tickets come from one pool without showing two times in the event?
  2. I would also like to ask registrants an extra question or set of questions if they purchase child/Student ticket. Is it possible to configure additional registration questions based on ticket selection? Additionally, is it possible to prevent registration based on birth date?

That’s tricky as the only way to limit the early bird sales that way is to add them to their own datetime as suggested. Is this ticket setup used for all of your events or select events?

You could hide the additional datetime using CSS but if this applies to all of your events it may not work (assuming you may actually need an additional datetime on your event at some point). Another option is to remove the datetimes from the single event view completely, you would then need to include the date within the description so your attendees can view it, would that work?

2. I would also like to ask registrants an extra question or set of questions if they purchase child/Student ticket. Is it possible to configure additional registration questions based on ticket selection?

Currently questions are assigned to question groups which are assigned per event so your registrants will all be asked the same set of questions regardless of which ticket they purchase.

We do have a feature request to allow questions to be assigned per ticket on our roadmap here:

However its currently not available within EE.

Additionally, is it possible to prevent registration based on birth date?

Its not something that EE supports, but would be possible with custom development.
