Hi, We’d like to buy EE4, the cheapest version, but I’d like to know if that version supports buying tickets at once for several people and entering the names of these persons as well. Currently in the free version it just says that “this ticket type does not require attendee information separately” and I can’t find a place to change the ticket type. Thanks! |

Hi George, Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso. The premium version of EE4 can most certainly allow for group bookings and asking additional attendees for further information. You may want to go to http://demoee.org and register to give the premium version of EE4 a test drive. Please note that to provide actual tickets to attendees you will need the EE4 Ticketing addon, otherwise they will just receive standard email notifications. Let me know if you have any other questions. |

Hi, We are running a site in English but we’re located in Estonia and everyone should make the payments in Euros. However, we’re selling registrations all over the world so they must be able to choose any country. I’m having difficulties finding out how to achieve this both in the EE4 free version and EE4 Premium test. Please help ASAP, then we can make the purchase. |
Hi George, the regular version of Event Espresso allows custom questions along with personal questions for additional attendees/registrants. If you do not collect the person questions for additional registrants/attendees, then this information will be linked to the primary attendee/registrant (first person on registration). — |

Did you read my question in the last post? 🙂 “We are running a site in English but we’re located in Estonia and everyone should make the payments in Euros. However, we’re selling registrations all over the world so they must be able to choose any country. I’m having difficulties finding out how to achieve this both in the EE4 free version and EE4 Premium test. Please help ASAP, then we can make the purchase.” We want to use only EUR as the main currency but all countries should be selectable by the customer. How to configure it like this? |
Hi George, Anyone from anywhere in the world can purchase tickets on your site. The currency will be determined by the gateway you choose. Also, the currency that is displayed on your site will be determined by the country that you select in the settings. Therefore, you won’t be able to have multiple currencies. |

Thank you. I did change the country to English UK for testing purposes and it still showed all the prices in Dollars. Is there any other trick? |
Alright, just to reiterate multiple currencies at once are not supported. However, you can change the currency for your current country by going to Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Countries. Now select your base of operations country (e.g. United Kingdom) from the dropdown. Then towards the left area of the page, you’ll see various options for the country. One of those will be currency. Update those options and then save changes. http://cl.ly/image/2s1s2i2k1f3q This will allow you to have a base of operations for United Kingdom but with Euros as the currency. — |

Hi, It’s not working the way it should, at least in the free version of EE4. It still uses currency USD although I tried changing site languages and everything as you suggested. Please help ASAP, we will have to get this system working properly. |
Hi George, Event Espresso uses your Organisations country to determine what currency the events will be in. If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. What is country currently set to? – http://take.ms/oCihO |

Thanks, now I got it. I thought the WordPress country needs to be changed but it’s the Event Espresso country instead. Euro is now working 🙂 Another issue – currently all the countries are basically set not to appear in the dropdown list for customers. I mean under the Countries settings in EE admin. Any chance to enable them all at once somehow? We need customers to be able to choose any country when registering. It’s an international event we are running… |
Hi, if you are familiar with PHPMyAdmin, then you can run this to make that change: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/8293c68d5d1bc3bb6403#comment-1236950 — |
