I have created an event with 14 different event dates. For the event there are 5 different ticket options and only 6 available for each ticket option, so 30 tickets for each date. When I go to test the process, my one ticket that I have bought for one of the dates, gets subtracted from the total of all of the event dates. How do I need to fix it to where it just gets subtracted from that one event date.

Hi there,

You can click on the gear icon in the datetime editor, then uncheck the boxes next to the tickets that aren’t associated with the datetime. Then you repeat for the other datetimes, then you click on the Update button in the Update Event box.

Hi Josh,

The tickets options are for all of the event dates, there aren’t any ticket options that aren’t associated with the datetime. Would that still be the case or is it something different?

I’m having a hard time reconciling these two statements:

How do I need to fix it to where it just gets subtracted from that one event date.

{italics mine)

The tickets options are for all of the event dates

(italics mine)

Can you clarify?

This (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dermaplane-training-in-cabot-arkansas-tickets-37666406235?aff=erelpanelorg) is the event on eventbrite that we are trying to recreate on this site (http://theraderm-courses.flywheelsites.com/). On the secondary site is where we are using event espresso to create the event and having the issue with the tickets

If you want a ticket to subtract availability for only one datetime, you’ll need to set up at least one ticket for each datetime and associate/connect the ticket to a specific . Right now you’ve set up 5 ticket options and they’re associated with all of the datetimes.

What’s recommended is you set up one event for each datetime and use the Duplicate event feature, then change the event’s datetime. Otherwise you’ll end up with about 70 different ticket options and your server probably will hit its maximum input limit.

Ok thank you, I will try that and replay back if I have any issues.
