Hello,
We recently implemented EE4 into our site and everything went very smoothly. The site was running slow today so I checked in with our resources and noticed that our CPU was maxed out. I reached out to Media Temple support and they pointed out the following…

“templates/ticket_selector_chart.template.php on line 131” is using a huge amount of memory

Is there anything we can do to fix this? We’re on a DV so I don’t think it’s a server issue but I’m open to any suggestions.

Here is the URL: http://tawonga.org/connect-share/calendar-events/

Thanks!

Hi Jason,

I looked at one of the events and saw a single ticket but I can’t reach any of the other events as the site appears to be running out of memory.

Could you raise the memory that is available to PHP through your wp-config.php file?

Hi Lorenzo,
I just updated the Memory limit. Please try again.

As a side note, even after increasing the memory, I noticed that I was not able to access the first event “Taste of camp…” but I was able to access the other two events. The only difference between the two was that the “Max number of tickets…” field for the first event was set to 0. As soon as I changed that number to 20, the event fired right up. Not sure if that’s related.

Thank you.

Hi Jason,

I can access all three of the events. Are you still seeing a burst in the CPU usage through the Media template account center?

Hi Lorenzo,
The CPU resources seem to have normalized. I can’t help but think it was because I changed that Max number of tickets available field from zero. This is the second or third time I had to create that specific event because I was experiencing the same issue (i.e. link to white screen).

Thanks, I was able to confirm this when it is set to 0 for the maximum tickets option.

For now, if you need to prevent registrations, please use the ticket selector option (appears right under the maximum registrations box).
