Ticket Selector creating error

after selecting the number of tickets for an event and then going to register button – the following error appears on the screen – this is for all events.

An error has occurred:
You need to select a ticket quantity before you can proceed.

Hi there,

Your site is currently using version 4.10.22.p

We fixed the above issue in 4.10.24.p , please update to the most current version (4.10.26.p) and see if you have the same issue then.

hi – we only experienced the problem when we updated to version 4.1.26 – we have taken the site back to this version to temporarily solve the issue

Are you loading your own custom ticket selector/template?

I can’t reproduce this with the same ticket setup I’ve found on your events.

not that I am aware of – its currently working as we have reverted back to an older version of events espresso

HI tony – how do we resolve this issue – I am reluctant to update the plug in when it keeps creating issues

I’ve been looking into this and went through your events to duplicate the setup locally as best I could but still can’t reproduce the error you’re getting on later versions without a custom ticket selector template.

So I’m either missing a change specific to your current setup that is then triggering the error or there is a custom template loading from somewhere.

If it’s a custom template then the reason you don’t get the error on 4.10.22.p is that the template is using a format that the version is expecting, that changed in .23+ so then the custom template needs to be updated.

I’d need to see the ticket selector with the latest version active to see if the old format is still in use (meaning an old template).
