Ticket quantity reduced by 1 despite not being able to complete the registration

Hi,
I have a serious issue with this plugin.
When the user selects a ticket and then checks but is not paid, the available ticket is reduced by one. Even when I tried to open the event page in Incognito, still the available tickets did not return to normal.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Go to https://trauma.p2l.site/events/ed-critical-procedures-course-january-30th-2020-facems-advanced-trainees-gps-2/
2. I selected ticket type (Registrar) – note how many spaces available
3. Click on “Register Now” button.
4. From the Checkout page, click “Back” button from the browser.
5. Observe what happen with the Available tickets for “Registrar”
6. Refresh the page, clear browser cache. Check ticket quantity.
7. open that link on incognito browser and check ticket quantity.

Note:
For the “available space”, I just “move” the available ticket text from the ticket details using javascript and I hide the ticket details element.

CURRENT RESULT:
Ticket quantity reduced by 1. Tried to clear browser cache, refresh the page, but the result is the same.

EXPECTED RESULT:
When the order/registration is not completed, the ticket quantity should not be reduced by 1.

Questions:
How I can fix this?

Hi there,

The above looks like the ticket reservation system we implemented within EE to prevent overselling.

When a ticket submission is posted, EE places those tickets into a reserved count for the duration of the user’s session (which by default is 1 hour), it is not an issue with browser caching.

So if you check back after roughly an hour, has the ticket released back to be available?
