Hi – I know you answered this question here – https://eventespresso.com/topic/set-ticket-quantity-maximum-to-one/ – but not quite.

You said that you can set the “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event” at 1. But I have two different ticket types – the individual and the group.

So I want the allowable order quantity for the individual ticket to be 1, not the event (so they realise they’re eligible for the group ticket if they want more than 1, and they’ll choose the Group ticket option).

And the quantity for the group ticket doesn’t matter – I’ll set it at something high.

How can I set the quantity in the dropdown menu in the ticket selector at only 1 for individual ticket?

Hi there,

To set the max qty on a specific ticket you click the cog icon on that ticket and set a ‘Max Quantity’ there – http://take.ms/DoXIK

That setting is available for each specific ticket on an event and they can all be different values.

Is that what you are looking for?

Yes I think so. I thought the ‘Max Quantity’ field referred to how many could be sold at the event overall – not how many each purchaser could purchase at a time.
