In EE4, even when you list on the event page the ability to register multiple attendees, the QTY field on the registration form is only giving the option of one registration. We must have changed something incorrectly in the setting, but I don’t know what to change back. |
Hi Brian, here are a few ideas on how this may have occurred: There is a minimum and maximum option on a per ticket basis in the event editor (gear icon – advanced options). There is also a tutorial that handled this before the feature above was added and it works by using jQuery to remove some options. Could you check into these? Thanks — |

Hi Brian, Can you go into edit the event where this happens, look under Event Registration Options, and check the number set for “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event” ? If it’s set to 1, then you can change it to a higher number to allow more tickets to be purchased in one order. |

Lorenzo is right, even though the “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event” was set to five, the per ticket amount did not change. Do we have to manually change this every time we do an event? This seems like a peculiar design decision to limit (and hide from view!) the per ticket amount when you already have on display the maximum tickets per order. What is the difference between these two fields, and under what circumstances would you want them not to be the same number? |
Hi Brian, The minimum/maximum quantity for a ticket is not set by default, that’s why it’s hidden from view. What is set for your per ticket limit? It shouldn’t need to be changed each time you set up a new event. They are two different things, number of tickets per order and a per ticket limit. If you have multiple ticket types, you may or may not wish to change the minimum or maximum for one or more of the ticket types. Again, by default, EE doesn’t set a limit per ticket. The per order limit allows setting a limit for the entire order. For example, you might have 2 types of tickets with no limits set, but you want to limit a total of 10 tickets per order. That’s were you set an order limit. |

Okay, I am pretty sure I understand now. Thanks for your help. |
