Ticket Preview Not Showing Correct Event

Maybe you’ve covered this topic, but I guess I still don’t understand what to do.
In EE4, I created my New Event and even created a custom ticket. However, when I preview the ticket, it doesn’t show any of the info for my New Event, it’s still showing info for the last event I created (name of event, date, time, etc.). I guess I could delete the previous event from the system, and that would solve the problem, but what if I wanted to sell tickets simultaneously to two events? How do I get the system to generate two different tickets?

Hi there,

Are you using the ‘Preview’ feature within the template itself? If so that’s just designed to provide a visual of how your ticket will look, it pulls in whichever information it can to build out the ticket currently.

The best way to test your ticket is to add a registration to the event, then go to:

Event Espresso -> Registrations

or view the Registrations for that that specifc event by going to:

Event Espresso -> Events -> {Hover over event} -> Registrations

Now on that list under ‘actions’ you’ll see a ticket icon, click on that, does it show the correct details?

Yes, the correct details did show when I added a registrant.
