We don’t currently have the option to disable specific messages on each event, but you can create a custom ticket template that is disabled and then set that custom template on the event which has the same effect.
Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Templates.
Find the Ticket notice template on the list and click ‘Create Custom’
Give that custom template a name you can identify (add ‘Disabled’ so you know that message is disabled for example), then set each context as inactive – http://take.ms/LXJgQ
Yeah, that toggle was added in 4.9.46.p and whilst I do recommend updating it is possible to do this in older versions.
Rather than switching the toggle, set to ‘To’ field of each of the contexts to nothing and save.
When you look at the message template in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Custom Message Templates, the links for each context should show as grey, not blue – http://take.ms/mGphS
Blue/Normal links mean the context is active, grey means is been de-activated.
