Hi, |
Hi there, Which version of Event Espresso are you using? The above comment sounds like it is referring to EE3 and would require altering the field within the database table itself, its not an option within WordPress/EE. Which thread did you find the above from? |
I’m using EE4. I found this here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/attendees-max-out-at-127-how-do-i-fix-this/ Is there a way to increase this maximum as it is an issue for me. |
Yeah, that’s from EE3. The latest versions of EE4 don’t have a limit of 127 although it will stop at 255. However with EE4 the registrations are created when you select the tickets, most servers can not handle creating 400 registrations without timing out, either through max_execution_time or query time. I can check in with our developers to confirm, but can I ask what use case this is being used for so I can pass that on and see if we can accommodate it. |

Hi, I’m using EE4 but I can’t get it to go past 127. Every time I set it to something higher it goes back to 127. The tickets are for an exhibition attended by schools, some of which can bring up to 400 students. |
Which specific version number of EE4 are you using? |
These are the details of my install PHP Version: 5.5.38 MySQL Version: 5.6.35 Event Espresso Version: 4.9.44.p |

Hi there, It sounds like you might have tried setting the “maximum quantity” field in the Advanced options section of the ticket editor. That particular field should be left blank in this case. Then you can set this field to 255: “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event:” That field is located in the Event Registration Options box. |
