Ticket Limit Backend V's Remaining Tickets Frontend

Morning, I really hope you can help. I appear to be having a problem with My tickets on my site.

On the backend i set my limit to 12 tickets to be sold. But on the front end for this event, the customer side, it says there is only 11 Remaining, None have been sold, and in the back end there is Zero showing in the ” Pending Payment Registrations” section and Zero in the “Not Approved Registrations”.

Is this something you have come across before? And if so how can i fix this.

Hi there,

Which version number of EE4 are you using?

There is a system within EE4 that holds the ticket for the duration of the session to prevent overselling tickets on your events, if you select a ticket and click to proceed you’ll notice the available tickets goes down by 1.

When the users session expires (by default the lifespan is 1 hour) the ticket should be released if the user has not paid for the registration.

Hi, i am using EE4 4.9.31.p

It has been a number of hours now and i am still seeing the same as before ๐Ÿ™

Hi Rob,

You can update your site to the current version of Event Espresso 4. Among other things, the update will include a new button to your Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset page. The button says “Reset Ticket and Datetime Reserved Counts”. You can click that button and it will reset the reserved count to 0. Normally you won’t need to click the button, but prior versions of Event Espresso had an issue where the reserved ticket counts could get stuck.
