Hi Support,
As title mention, the ticket already set as expired on system, but client still able purchase the ticket after the date, system should block the customer purchase the ticket after expired.
eg:
30 April 2019 (expired date)
6 May 2019 (purchase on this date & completed) https://snag.gy/rDgsd6.jpg
The screenshot shows they initially tried to pay on April 30, but the payment was cancelled. So they did register before the sale end date.
If you want to block them from paying for their registration that was made before the sale end date, you would need to cancel their registration on or prior to the sale end date.
Hi Josh,
Is that means we can only manual cancel the user registration 1 by 1 if after the sales end date?
Not the system automatically disable the user for continue buying the ticket which alr expired?
You can cancel the registrations in bulk on the Event Espresso > Registrations admin page, but yes the system does not automatically cancel registrations that have not paid yet.
One could also consider that it would not be user-friendly to allow payment for a registration. One other thing you could do is set the event to “Sold Out” at the moment that you do not want to allow payments for registrations. This way, if they try to pay, they’ll see a message that says the event is sold out and will not be able to pay for their registration.
