WordPress 3.9.2
Event Espresso 4.4.3
New Installation
Registration Page Link – http://atlanticladies.com/?event=maximum-impact&event_date=2014-11-14

To conduct a test registration, I chose my ticket quantity, clicked on “Register Now” and entered the registration details. Then when I clicked on proceed to payment options I get this error message, “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again.” Despite numerous page refreshes and clearing browser history, the payment options will not open and the error message pops up.

If I register while logged into my WordPress account, the registration and payment options work fine.

Hi,

Could you deactivate all plugins, reactivate Event Espresso and browse to WP-admin –> Settings –> Permalinks?

Then please try again.

If you still see the error, then please check for old cache files in this location:

wp-content/

Some examples are advanced_cache and cache_.

Also, if you are using a managed WP host, then you web host will need to setup those exclusion rules for you.

Thank you for the quick response, Lorenzo!

I deactivated all plugins, reactivated Event Espresso and browsed to Permalinks and re-saved the permalink setting to “post name.”

The W3 Total Cache directory and Cache file were deleted via FTP.

Without reactivating any other plugins besides Event Espresso, the error message still pops up.

Hi there,

Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login so we can take a closer look at this issue?

Please share that temporary login through the secure link below:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

To prevent delays in troubleshooting, be sure to double check your information on the form before submitting.

The submit button for the form appears at the end of the form.

Again, please ensure that the temporary login works.

Thank you.
