We just migrated over to EE4. Registration is working great! However, when I view the custom questions in an registrant file I get “There were no custom questions asked for this registration.” However, in the export the custom questions print with no problem. I created a new event and tested it and tested it with an existing question group and I get the same message. Any ideas on how I can get the custom questions listed? I need to edit one for a registrant.

Hello,
That should occur if there are no custom question groups set for the event.
Could you go to Event Espresso –> Events and then click on this specific event?
You’ll then be viewing the event editor. Scroll down and look for the question groups area. Are there any custom questions there?

You mentioned that you do see some in the registrations csv report. Could you confirm that none of the existing system question were re-purposed / renamed to collect different information?

Thanks for the screenshots. There appears to be a custom question question group with some questions and it is enabled for an event.
Could you provide a link to that event (e.g. the event page) so we can start a registration?
This will not affect any limits that may be set for the event.

Hi there,
I suspect some of those questions didn’t migrate over correctly from EE3 since they’re not showing up in the registration record. Can you try re-saving some of those custom questions in the question editor, then do a test registration to see if the custom questions get added to the registration record?

That did it. However, I have to open each question. Change one item (i.e. add a character to one of the labels and save it. Then it appeals. Thanks!
