There are no upcoming dates for this event on message on upcoming widget

We are getting the message: “There are no upcoming dates for this event.” on the upcoming widget for events that have not even started yet. Right now it is 10:45am, and the 2pm program has this message with a red circle. I do not see any option to fix this, and we do not want it to look like the program was canceled. I tried setting the ticket sell time to go past the program, but that did not change anything.
We are using EE4 4.2.8p

Hi John,

I have seen this happen if the event has already started since that isn’t actually an “upcoming” event anymore.

However, your explanation is different since the event has not started.

Could you check the timezone that is set in WordPress admin –> Settings –> General to ensure that is is set to a city or region nearby you?

Our time zone is set correctly to New York.
If you check our website http://www.greenburghlibrary.org you will see the problem on the adult ESL class.

Sorry, that program has now started. To make it a little more stable I created a program for teens and placed it on http://www.greenburghlibrary.org/library-services/teens/
The program runs from 1:30pm to 5pm EST today, and already has the error.

Is this event’s ticket on sale date also set to go just past the event’s datetime?

I have tried it both ways – with and without the ticket date past the program. Neither makes a difference.

This looks like something that needs fixing before Event Espresso 4 graduates past beta. We will update you with what we find.
