I purchased and installed the Personal addition yesterday and when I try to create an Event I get this message: The number of inputs on this page has been exceeded. You cannot add anymore items (i.e. tickets, datetimes, custom fields) on this page because of your servers PHP “max_input_vars” setting.
I read a post in your forum that that had been fixed in the most recent hotfix. However, in the download I received yesterday it doesn’t appear to be fixed. Do I need to download something else to fix this error?

Hi,
Can you please go to Maintenance > System Information tab and do a search on that page (ctrl-f) for max_input_vars and advise what is shown.

The fix mentioned in the latest update was that EE4 would read this value, save it to the config, compare your current page variables with this value, then display a notice when it was reached. The problem was that this value did not update when the user increased max_input_vars from the default of 1000 and the notice would then remain. We updated the code to update the new value.
So if you are still receiving this notice I’m assuming max_input_vars is set to the default of 1000? If so this will need to be increase to remove the notice.
