Error Message:
The maximum number of inputs on this page has been exceeded. You cannot add anymore items (i.e. tickets, datetimes, custom fields) on this page because of your servers PHP “max_input_vars” setting.
There are 1163 inputs and the maximum amount currently allowed by your server is 1000.

Hi there,

max_input_vars is a limit set on your server and the notice is telling you the number of inputs on the pages has exceeded the limit set on your server (so not everything on the page will save as your server will ignore the additional inputs).

To fix you’ll need to increase the max_input_vars value on your server, I recommend contacting your host and have them do it for you and I would use a value of 3000 to give yourself some wiggle room.

After that change has been made you’ll need to go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Make any change on that page (you can change the Org name and just add a single character) then save. Now remove that change again so its back to normal.

The above updates the cache within EE so that it pulls the latest changes from your server.
