Hi there, our “Thank You” page is timing out after a customer confirms their registration. Once a customer registers, they are directed to the following URL:
This page times out, however the “Edit Registration Details” they receive via email works fine. These both direct the user to the Thank You page (id 3773) however the “Edit Details” page is http, whereas the initial “Thank You” page is https. Is there something particular I need to do in order to ensure the initial Thank You page is displayed?
Our client is using the WordPress HTTPS plugin – I’ve added a filter for the thank you page via the following:
/^page_id=3773$/
I’ve also forced SSL on all of the EE pages involved in checkout. I feel like I must be missing something. Any thoughts?
I finally figured out what the issue seems to be. It looks like the domain we’re working on (impactnw.org) has the SSL cert only attached to impactnw.org, and not http://www.impactnw.org – is there a way to disable the www on the final checkout URL? It seems to add the www to the final URL and it causes it to time out.
Hello, your SSL provider should be able to add an Subject Alternative Name and a Common name so that the www-version and non-www version of your site are covered.
I noticed that some links on the site are using www while others are not.
What do you have set in WP-admin –> Settings –> General?
