Hi, We are using PayPal Pro as our only payment method and it works fine. However, in case of Card Decline, the user still gets the Thank You and confirmation message that shows card Declined. We do not want to process registration in case card is not accepted. This confirmation page causes confusion to users thinking the payment was received. Is it possible to not let them get to Thank You page unless the card id accepted? Please let me know and this is becoming a deal breaker for us to use EE. Version Details are below. Thanks, WordPress Version: |
Hi Shez, They are sent to the thank you page so they can view the status of their registration. If a payment is declined, then they can click on payment options and try the payment again using a different payment method. — |

yes i see that. However, like a typical checkout process, you should not see a confirmation page without a payment. We dont have any other payment option and if their card is declined, they should not see Confirmation. It should keep them on card page with decline message. Please let me know. This has to be possible. Otherwise this will be a problem. |
Hi, I believe you are referring to the congratulations messaging: http://cl.ly/image/2f0k382i2q1F The attendee/registrant will arrive on the thank you page whether a payment is declined or completed successfully. Would adjusting the order of the content on that page help? — |

Yes thats the page i am referring to. Well this page is VERY confusing and misleading. We want this page to show up only on SUCCESS. Right now even on failure, this says “Congratulations” and shows Declined right at the bottom. We want user to stay on credit card page if card has been declined. Waiting for a solution. |
Hi, there isn’t an option to keep the user on the payment page if it is declined. It would require modifying the core plugin which is not supported as those changes would be lost on a software update. We can provide some help with editing a template file to reposition the content on the page. Would that work for you? — |
