The payment method I am using is: Authorize.net AIM

I am testing Event Espresso with a live credit card. When I go to finally register, it says: “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again.” What is weird is that I am still getting an Authorize.net receipt even though Event Espresso says there is an issue. Receipt says that payment is captured.

All the information I am putting in is correct as far as billing goes. When I my the users “my registrations” page, I see the registration listed, but as “Pending Payment Registration, Upcoming Event”.

When I go into the administration side of things, its says the transaction is complete, when I click on the cart icon, it even says “This transaction has been approved. (code: 1)”, but on the previous page it is still blue and still pending payment. Again, I already have an Authorize.net email saying that it captured the funds.

I am not sure how to trouble shoot this. The first time I tried this put in the wrong name for the credit card, and when I fixed it and it went though, I received EIGHT confirmation emails of my registration. Very unusual…

Any clue as to where to start troubleshooting this?

Tried it in test mode with Authorize.net AIM.. same error message, same outcome. No real error code to speak of. Really scratching my head on this one.

Turned on the Authorize.net AIM debug mode… not sure where that debug information is found.. Same error, same outcoe. Still getting nowhere. Grrr.
