How can I set it up so I can test a payment gateway setting (Authorize.net) without the payment actually being processed? Thanks!

Hi Erin,

You’ll need to go to this page and set up a testing account with Authorize.net: https://developer.authorize.net/sandbox/

For testing, be sure to click the box in Payment Settings in Event Espresso that asks “Account Uses Authorize.net development Server”

Thanks. When doing that, do I have to update the Authorize.net Payment Settings with the new Login ID and Transaction Key information I obtained when creating the testing account, or can I leave my original ones there?

Hi Alison,

You need to use the testing account credentials.

Thank you! It worked. The confirmation emails that I receive all have “WordPress” listed as the sender. How can I change that to my business name? I’ve looked in both the Event Espresso general settings, as well as the WordPress general settings and I can’t locate how to customize it. Thanks!

Hi Alison,

Go to the Event Espresso General Settings and change the option “Use Fancy Headers” to yes. I know that that isnt an intuitive wording, but that is what will change the email from name to the site name.
