Hi. I have a development site I am working on that will be moved to a live domain. I purchased the all-in-one license for one site and I read that I should only activate my license on one domain. Currently, the staging domain is https://asaofbaltimstg.wpengine.com/ the future domain will be https://www.asa-baltimore.com/. Am I unable to activate the Event Espresso on the Staging site for fear it won’t function when I activate the real domain name? Please advise.

Hi there,

The license key is used for support and one-click updates only.

You can install Event Espresso on the staging site and leave the key blank on that site, EE will function exactly the same as it does on the live site only you will need to manually update Event Espresso on the staging site.

Does that help?
