I have licence for one site but I’d like to test new updates in testing environment. I created a copy of my production site but automatic updates are not possible because of the licence type. Could you, please, advise how can I arrange my testing without buying another licence?

Thank you

Hi Alexander,

The license key provide 1 click updates to a single domain, so on your testing site simply remove the license key from general settings and update the plugins manually on the test site.

To update simply download the latest version of the plugins from your account page, de-activate and delete the current version that is active on the site and upload the new version through Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.

It is advisable to create a site backup before updating just to be safe.
