We have a website that is currently handling CAD on one event, and needs to handle EUR on another event. After going through these forums, we understand multi-currency is not a feature that is implemented or high priority.
So I have asked our development to take on the problem. This is the approach we’re thinking of taking:
– Define EUR currency set for the specific event.
– Adjust transaction and payment objects linked to the registrations for an event to use the new defined set.
– Use a single payment method (Stripe) for this event which will handle EUR payments.
Any assistance or advice you could provide would be appreciated. If successful, we’d of course be happy to share the solution with you and anyone else who needs it.
Whilst I’d love to be able to help here the above thread is a little too broad for us to help with.
Adding multi-currency support to Event Espresso is a relatively large and involved project, the above can be considered a general overview of what would need to be done but there isn’t really anything there I can comment on further.
Is there a specific section you would like more info on?
