This is a new problem. I’ve had 4 cases today where people have tried to sign uip for events, put in their details and the system has taken their payment, but the event espresso registration is saying that the payment has not gone through stripe. I’ve checked in all cases and Stripe is saying that it has. This has never happened before.

Hi there,
If you go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> System Information, use your browsers search function to search for ‘PHP Version’
What does it show?

Event Espresso is currently not fully PHP8 compatible, your server has likely been updated recently to use it. Your host will usually have an option to switch your PHP version in your control panel and I recommend switching back to PHP7 (the highest PHP7 version they have available)
The issue you are likely getting above with Stripe and PHP8 was fixed version 1.1.11.p of the EE Stripe payment method, your site is currently using 1.1.10.p so if you update it that should prevent the current issue.
However, I still recommend switching the server back to PHP7 for the time being, we are working on making Event Espresso fully PHP8 compatible in a future version.
