The following custom table filtering stopped working as expected.
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category-slug=monart-classes show_expired=false show_venues=false category_filter=false table_paging=false table_search=false]
Events that are not part of the category-slug are being displayed.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Bill
Thanks Tony – that was a typo made during some troubleshooting. I’ve corrected that. The filtering by category_slug is not working. I’ll update after walking through more debugging per our other support thread for the admin filtering.
Hi Tony, I wanted to follow up on this as well. There was a hidden character in the event filter. An odd “^A” that didn’t show inside the page editor. I’m not sure how it was entered. It didn’t show when text was highlighted but when I copied/pasted the full short code string into a text editor it showed up.
This issue is resolved.
Regards,
Bill
Thanks for the update, I’m glad you found the problem.
That’s something we’ve seen before when users copy the shortcodes into a word processor such as MS Word before then copying them onto the site, I’m not sure if that’s the cause of the above but something to be aware of.
