I’ve set up a table of 8 which gives the “Table Captain” a free ticket. However, in order to do it, I had to discount the ticket price so that the full table price is actually for 7 people. However, I think everybody registered to the table is showing the discounted price instead of 7 being full price and one being free. Is there another way to do it? I’m not sure if the price modifier would work. Any suggestion?

Thanks – I already set up a bundle. Here was my problem – I was registering all the people in the table of 8 and they were being notified that their ticket was the discounted price – the intention was for the person buying the 8 tickets to get THEIR ticket free. So the price should remain at $75/person – but the purchaser pays only for 7. I think I solved it by just not registering everyone and let the purchaser bring any 8 people they want, unless you have another suggestion.

Alternatively, can I register people and not have the ticket price in their registration confirmation? The tickets are $75, so the price to get the free ticket is $65.63/ticket – but I want the registrants to pay the purchaser the $75/ticket. Is that possible?

This is not possible at the moment. But that feature but that feature has been started, but is still a far ways off.
the best thing to do is to do bundle, then create a custom registration question so you can get the information you needed.
