I have a development site up at mmnbs.gravitationdesign.com, tomorrow I would like to move it and replace the old site at mmnbs.com which currently has Event Espresso running. I only have one Support License Key. How do I add Event espresso to the new site before replacing the old one?

Hi there!
I understand you wanted to add Event Espresso to your new website. You can do this by deleting the current key and save the settings in your WordPress.
You can follow the steps below:
Admin > Event Espresso > General Settings page > remove anything in “Support License Key” > Save
Then, you can add your existing key to the new site whenever you want. You can also find your Event Espresso current keys in your eventespresso.com account.

Hi there,
Just to add to the above, the license key is used for support and updates only, so you can install EE on a development site without a license key and it will work just fine.
However, you’ve mentioned moving/replacing sites, all of your EE data is stored within the database so if you planning on ‘moving’ the new site (including the database) in place of the original you will lose the EE data on the ‘live’ site.
We don’t currently have a method to export only the EE data from site A and import it into site B, you’d need the whole database.
What changes have you made on the development site?
