Swapping out an attendee after registration

Hi there,

What is the best way to swap out an attendee for someone else after a registration is confirmed and paid?

Example: Mary buys 2 x tickets and registers herself and Jane. Before the event starts Jane can no longer make it so Mary want to change that ticket to another person – Bruce. Is there a way to swap out Jane for Bruce without cancelling the registration and setting up a new order?

We are also using the infusionsoft integration so when a customer registers they are tagged with the event and put into a sequence in infusionsoft. I guess there is no other way that to manually go in and remove Jane from the campaign. But can Bruce be auto put in sequence from EE?

Not currently.

If both of the registrations were assigned to the Primary Registrant (in this case Mary) you could break out the second registration to assign it to another contact but as it standard you can’t re-assign a registration to another contact without doing so directly in the database which we don’t recommend.

You would need to cancel the original registration(s) and add another.

I guess there is no other way that to manually go in and remove Jane from the campaign. But can Bruce be auto put in sequence from EE?

They can be applied with the new registration but not if you try to swp out the the current contact for Bruce.
