Our hosting company believes our site is hacked and the want us to provide new clean copies of our plugins, which includes EE4, so they can recreate our environment. I just want to double-check with you, if we install new zip files of EE4, will we lose our ticket templates, messages, etc. that we have setup? I’m just wondering how extensive this repair will be. They said they will use the existing database.
I’m sorry to hear about your site. Installing clean copies of the plugin will work just fine, you won’t lose any of those settings. All of your ticket templates, messages, etc are stored in the database.
