I’ve read ” Displaying Surcharge in Checkout & Payment Option Page” from 2019. Is this still valid and required to change the display in Checkout? I want(and can’t imagine not wanting this but…) to say my ticket price is lower and a surcharge is required (like a necessary evil) I will always, on every page, every circumstance want to show the surcharge (and tax) separately. Please don’t ever show combined until necessary at the very end before taxation.

The surcharge is a kind of fee like a “shipping” charge for example. As taxes does not equal surcharge, they won’t be stated separately. The default behavior of Event Espresso is to include the surcharge on the ticket’s price. We recommend hiring a developer to implement this change in case you really need different behavior.
