When we login to our account on event expresso we see our license key and domain name but in WordPress there is a red Key beside our Support License Key. We are unable to update automatically.
I’ve just reset your Support License Key. In a few minutes, you’ll receive a confirmation to your email address on your Event Espresso account.
Please login to your WordPress admin and locate Event Espresso in the admin menu. Then click on General Settings. Copy the existing key which appears at the top of the page. Then erase the existing key and click on Save on the right side of the screen. After the page refreshes, please paste your support license key and click on Save once more.
These steps will refresh your Support License Key for Event Espresso.
We have not changed the license key yet because our server went down after doing the update to 4.4.1.p. We performed the update successfully then clicked on the dashboard and the WordPress site was unresponsive. We want to know if any configuration files get changed with this 4.4.1.p update? Would doing an update with the non working license key cause any type of effect that we are seeing?

EE4.4.1 included multiple bugfixes and enhancements although without the error message displayed on the site at the time we can not know if any of this was the cause. The change log contains a list of the fixes made:

In itself, it would not. However if you license key would not allow the auto update, how did you run the update? Via FTP and replacing the files?
