We are only using the key on one domain.
Looking at our license keys on our Event Espresso account, it says “Not currently activated on any websites”
Multisite installations are not officially supported so you may run into some sporadic issues with the support license key not holding on the primary site on the network.
It is something that we plan on improving support for in the future but is currently a known issue.
