What changes are you wanting to make to the page?

Visual composer cannot be used to change the layout of the page.

The /news/ part of the URL is likely from your permalink settings for your WP site.

The page doesn’t seem to be styled at all? It just looks messy including the listing.

Are you able to be more specific on what you are trying to change so we can share feedback?

Event Espresso is using the single post styling which is similar to how your blog posts would appear so that is coming from your change. Could you share some specific feedback on what you are trying to change (e.g. change the header font, change a button color)?

The /news/ part of the URL is likely from your permalink settings for your WP site. If you remove that from your permalink settings, then it will be removed from your event URLs.

Hello,

The news part of the URL can’t be removed as Event Espresso uses the permalinks settings that are set on your site.

Visual Composer is not supported for re-designing the single event pages.
