Updated to 5.0.3 and completed the migration. However, EE will now not come out of maintenance mode even though maintenance page says ‘off’. Toggling on and off doesn’t seem to resolve the issue.

I’ve actually managed to fix it myself after playing around on settings. It looks like a standard plugin conflict, in this case LightStart (which is another maintenance page plugin). Once that was disabled, the site was working again.
