I need to be able to charge our customers cards on a later date. I’ve already disabled the capture but I realized that I’m not able to charge their card if they don’t show up or if they forget their credit card in person.
I found this article but not sure where or how I should add the new code to the EE stripe plugin: https://stripe.com/docs/saving-cards
please help!

Hi,

The page you linked to covers saving cards with the Charges API. The EE Stripe plugin does not use the Charges API. So this isn’t a case where you would add more code to the EE Stripe plugin. Instead, you’d be looking at building a new Stripe plugin to replace the EE Stripe plugin. This isn’t something we can support at the moment.

If you’d like to contract with someone to build this for you, we recommend contacting codeable.io for a quote.

Ok what API does the EE Stripe Plugin use? I’m hoping there is a simple fix to be able to save the captured card perhaps with the API that EE uses.
I tried the codeable.io from the last time you recommended it to me and no one responded so I’m not sure about that website. 🙁

Hi,

This isn’t a matter of a simple “fix” because the EE Stripe plugin was not built to save the captured card, and it was not built to charge the saved card later. The feature set you’re looking to add is going to require some significant development.
