I implemented the Stripe payment gateway on our site and I noticed that the form was all jumbled and displaying oddly. I fixed that issue, however I’m noticing that the form fields are hard to click on unless you hit them just right. Is there a way to increase the form field size or alignment to the boxes?

Thanks!

Not sure without a link to the site to see what is going on. Sounds like your theme is adding styles that are probably causing these types of issues.

Unfortunately the site isn’t live at the moment. We’re working on it offline on a dev server. We should be going live this week, but I’m hesitant to deploy with this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

You could try enabling the themeroller styles in Event Espresso->Template settings.

I’m currently using a themeroller style (cupertino). I’ve also tried other styles and they all have a similar issue.

Since it’s probably related to the theme (we haven’t seen this in testing) we probably can’t help without seeing a web page. I can direct you to a few guides on styling form elements with CSS and Firebug if you’d like to try to troubleshoot this yourself:

Hey Josh,

We finally updated to a “live” dev site at dev.downtownindependent.com . If you could continue helping me with this display issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi James,

I took a look at the form, there seems to be a random <p> tag contain 3 <br /> tags after the coupon field code.

I’m unsure where this is coming from but it is definitely the issue as to why the coupon field can’t be clicked.

If it has a clear:both or display:none attached to it then the field works fine. However there is no class or id to add this to.

I would perhaps check the page template to see if its there and removable.

It could be an auto-p issue. You could try wrapping the Event Espresso shortcode in [raw] [/raw] tags
