Stripe Gateway "deactivating"

We’ve recently installed the Stripe payment gateway, and installation and configuration went as anticipated. Initially, all looked good, but then we noted that our credit card payment method had disappeared on event registrations, and checking the back-end, noted that the Stripe gateway “activate” button needed to be selected.

Doing so re-enabled the payment method on events for a while, and then it would de-activate again.

This has been continuing – we’re having to monitor the site to make sure the payment method is available, and re-enable it periodically when it disappears.

Please help – we have an event in less than two weeks, and registrants are complaining (and not registering).
