The pop-up screen Successfully Authenticated with Stripe has a button, ‘Yes, Complete the Authorization Process!’ and that takes me to a new popup screen that says: There is no error code. When I go to complete a purchase I can select payment by card but there are no boxes to fill in for credit card number or exp date. How do I fix this, please? |
Hi there, That’s odd and not something I have seen before. Once you get to this page: https://monosnap.com/file/aP7MXQnETMn8rMXhRWwjUJIJYUxwcW When you click on the authorize button, the popup should close and Stripe connect in the background. If you try this again now, does the same happen? Are you connecting in Debug mode or live? |

That is the page I am describing and when I click on the authorize button the popup doesn’t close but it instead says Forbidden. Debug mode on? No is selected Just now, I changed Debug mode to Yes and used my own Stripe account to authenticate (instead of the client’s account) and I received Forbidden. |
Before I replied above I tested it on 2 different test sites to make sure it still worked, no issues there, so something is happening on that site. Can I try linking my account on the site? I’d like to monitor the request and see what it happening. If that’s ok you can send temp login details using this form: |

Ok, I’ve found the issue and raised a ticket to address this. I have a workaround for you to get it up and running whilst we get this fixed. I don’t actually get a 403 Forbidden error, but I do get a 404. If you copy the address for that page in the pope, remove We’ll get an update pushed out to fix this soon. |

That worked! Thank you so much. |
You’re most welcome. The next version of the Stripe payment method add-on will have this fixed 🙂 |

One last issue. When I went into sandbox mode and used my Stripe account it worked. Then I disabled that and reentered the client’s Stripe account. On the email confirmations it is showing two boxes for Connect With This Event, one for me and one for the client. How do I remove my info box, please? |
That all worked as expected?
I’m not sure I follow this. Can you add a screenshot of what your seeing? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

Ahh, ok. So the connect with the event section is using your details because you are set as the event author, that section can be removed from the template or you can assign another user with the ‘correct’ details to as the event author. We generally don’t recommend removing it, but you can do so in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates -> Registration Approved -> Edit Registrant. |

Sorry I didn’t set that to a private reply. I can’t delete it here. Thank you again! You’re the best, Tony! |
No problem. I’ll usually set any posts showing any kind of personal or ‘private’ even if the author has not. The thread author can still see them and so can EE staff so makes no difference to me to set them private. Anyway, any further issues/questions just let me know 🙂 |
