Stripe API Keys disappeared after Stripe Connect

Hi
I’m using EE4 with Stripe.
I’m struggling with the settings page as I managed to update API keys and make everything work. However, after I tried to connect my Stripe account then disconnected it, I am no longer able to see the API keys fields on the page.
Any help is appreciated, not sure what to do now and I’m aiming to go live in the next 24 hours.

Hi AviramL,

If you leave the Stripe account connected you do not actually need to input Stripe API keys. Stripe Connect takes care of the API keys for you. There’s more information in the documentation:

Thanks for your quick reply Josh !
How do I switch between Test and Live mode then without specifying the API keys?

You set Debug Mode On? to Yes for test mode, and you set Debug Mode On? to No for live mode.

I have the following message: Stripe Payment Method is in debug mode but the authentication with Stripe Connect is in Live mode. Payments will not be processed correctly! If you wish to test this payment method, please reset the connection and use sandbox credentials to authenticate with Stripe Connect.

Are there sandbox credentials available for Stripe ?

You’ll need to change Debug Mode On? to No, then save the settings page, then click the Disconnect button.

After your site is disconnected, you can set Debug Mode On? to Yes, then save the settings page. Now you can click the Connect button and your site will be connected with test/sandbox credentials after you click through the prompts.

I agree the UI is not as straightforward as it could be, and there’s an open ticket to improve the Stripe’s settings page to make it easier to switch between test and live modes.
