Hi Alex,

Event Espresso 3 currently supports Stripe and there is a translation file available in French.

Let me know when it will be available. I’ll buy EventExpresso then… 🙂
I don’t want to use PayPal anymore… its too complicated for our members.

Hello Lorenzo,

Stripe for EE4 will be an Add-on? It’s part of the payment gateway, why not add it to the core? That was the case in EE3.

Thanks in advance for answering.

Best,
Riffard

Hello! I wanted to share an update on two recent enhancements to the Stripe payment gateway add-on for Event Espresso 4.

The first is zip/postal code validation (Validate the billing ZIP code). When this is enabled, then Stripe will only approve a payment with a bank card if the zip/postal code matches the bank card.

The next enhancement is for collecting the billing name and address for a registrant/attendee (Collect the user’s billing address). By default, Stripe does not collect this information and the email address is used for the cardholder name.

Both of these options are off by default but can be turned on through WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Payment Methods –> Stripe.

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/stripe-payment-gateway/#setup

Thanks

Lorenzo
