Streipe Gateway: No receipts sent – No email address for this payment

I would like my customers to get a receipt from Stripe when they pay. According to the information in this thread https://eventespresso.com/topic/very-urgent-stripe-issues-not-creating-customer-record-or-sending-receipts/ and @Josh a new filter that will add the customers email address will be included in the Stripe Payment Gateway v1.0.15.p https://eventespresso.com/topic/very-urgent-stripe-issues-not-creating-customer-record-or-sending-receipts/#post-240033 – The current version 1.1.3.p does not seem to have this option or am I missing something here?

Hi there,

We add a filter to the Stripe payment method, not an option.

What that means is you can use code to hook into the the Stripe payment method to add additional details. The code Josh linked to in this reply:

Is what you need to use for the above.

So you’re adding this code:

To your site to set the receipt_email address to use the primary registrants email, you can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site and we have some documentation on creating one here:
